TBOX Chicago 2007
The Twelfth Annual Twelve Bars of Xmas (TBOX) Pub Crawl will take place in Chicago on Saturday, December 8th, 2007. The event starts at 10am at The Cubby Bear and runs until the bars close (4am?). The TBOX Pub Crawl splits into two different routes and covers 33 bars in the Wrigleyville. All TBOX bars are within walking distance of each other.

I can’t find any real information about the exact routes / bars that will be included in the pub crawl - schedules are distributed when you get your tickets - but judging from the past events, looks like it will be a fun time. Tickets are $30 per person and that fee apparently get you into the bars with entry limited to TBOX participants, but I’m really not clear on the details.

This year’s Twelve Bars of Xmas (TBOX) looks to be rather large. Originally the organizers had promised a free TBOX T-shirt to the first 1,300 people that purchased tickets - but they have now passed that number. From the looks of their website, they are now expecting 4,000 attendees. I am really not sure how the Twelve Bars of Christmas makes all this work, but it seems to work.

If you are looking for a wild time you can get your tickets for The Twelve Bars of Xmas by clicking here.

TBOX is an entertainment service produced by Festa Stuff Incorporated, and Sponsored by Miller Brewing Company (thank you!) - TBOX Chicago will involve over 30 bars in the Wrigleyville area. You will receive drink specials at every bar, which will include $2 pints of Miller Lite/MGD, plus other individual specials at every bar. TBOX starts at 10AM and goes through closing time. The bars, bar staff, Festa staff, Bullhorn Boy, Son of Bullhorn Boy, and the Miller Girls, will be on hand all day to assist, direct traffic, and restrict entry to the bars during the time slots to participants in the event who have a badge and wristband. This is the 12th year. We had 3,400 attendees in 2006. We expect somewhere over 4,000 this year. We will cut off TBOX ticket sales when we reach a designated number over 4,000. 80% of tickets were bought in last 2 weeks last year, and some people got shut out - so buy now!
