The Adler Planetarium is free on select days throughout the year. Open 9:30am–6pm during the summer and 9:30am–4:30pm off-season.

During Field Museum Free Days you get free basic admission to the Field Museum.

The Museum of Science and Industry has various Free Days throughout 2008 to help celebrate its 75th anniversary. Open Mon–Sat 9:30am – 4pm; Sunday 11am – 4pm.

The McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum is dedicated to the first amendment. The museum is free to public through November 9, 2008. (Closed Tues)
