Southern Illinois Bed & Breakfast

Southern Illinois Bed BreakfastThe best way to experience Southern Illinois Wine Country is to stay at a local bed and breakfast. During our trip to , we stayed at the Shawnee Hill Bed & Breakfast. The facility is centrally located along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail and the innkeepers are able to provide you with any information that you would need during your stay in Southern Illinois Wine Country.

The Shawnee Hills Bed & Breakfast is located on a sprawling property that features 3 ponds, hiking trails and a cave where Daniel Boone etched his name into the stone. For breakfast you can choose to have a stomach pleasing full-service breakfast in the main house or you may request a smaller but equally filling tray for you to bring back to your room. The innkeepers also provided ample drinks and snacks available at all hours of the day.

One thing that I particularly appreciated about the Shawnee Hill Bed & Breakfast was that the rooms are fully detached from the main house and each room has a private bathroom.
