Navy Pier New Years Fireworks 2009/2010
There is a full slate of Navy Pier New Years Fireworks Shows to help ring in 2010. At 8:15pm on New Years Eve, Navy Pier will host a family friendly New Years Eve Fireworks Show. “Families are invited to ring in the New Year a little early at Navy Pier’s made-for-families fireworks celebration. Come early with the kids and beat the crowds.” Activities for families and children will begin at 6pm.

For those folks that are able to stay awake until midnight, there will be a 15 minute fireworks display that kicks off as the clock strikes midnight and 2009 become 2010. With music from DJ Madrid, the Navy Pier New Years Eve Fireworks might be one of the best free New Years Eve events going on in Chicago. The DJ Madrid performance is free.

There are also several paid events being hosted, including Soul 106.3 hosting DJ Vell ($25), New Years Eve in the Crystal Gardens ($110) or New Years Eve Cruises out of Navy Pier ($???). Click Here for more info on these events.

Missed both Navy Pier New Years Fireworks displays? There is no need to worry because you cancheck out the Navy Pier Winter Wonderland, running now through January 3rd, 2010. In summer 2010, Navy Pier will help host the Tall Ships Chicago event.
