The Hyde Park Art Center hosts its “Cocktails and Clay” Second Friday event on the second Friday of every month. Second Fridays run from 8pm to Midnight with a suggested donation of $15. The Hyde Park Art Center is located at 5020 S. Cornell (map). It promises to be a fun night with drinks and mingling.
The quickest route would be to take the Metra Electric to the 53rd Hyde Street Station - or possibly a cab. I would not suggest walking from the Green Line late at night. Visit The Hyde Park Art Center’s official website for more information.
