Featured sections of the Star Wars exhibit at The Museum of Science and Industry include:

Star Wars Artifacts
More than 80 props, models and costumes from the original Star Wars films are on display. See the real objects as never before. You’ll also learn more about the films through behind-the-scenes inteviews with the filmmakers.

Star Wars Design Labs
Throughout the exhibit you’ll be presented with a series of hands-on engineering challenges focused on two key themes: Getting Around and Robots and People. The Engineering Design Labs will give you the opportunity to imagine, create and evaluate new technologies.

Star Wars Robot Theater
In the exhibit’s Robot Object Theater, enter a large-scale model of the sandcrawler from Episode IV for an engaging presentation on robots. Inside the dark, rusted-steel interior of the sandcrawler, you’ll come face-to-face with an animatronic version of beloved Star Wars robot, C-3PO. He is joined (via video) by a real-world robotics engineer. The two have a thought-provoking and entertaining discussion on what makes a good robot.

Star Wars Millennium Falcon
A full-size replica of the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon from Episode IV, provides a “jump to lightspeed” experience. In a four and-a-half-minute trip to the edge of the Universe, the multimedia presentation explores what it would take to exceed the speed of light and what we’ve learned about our own galaxy.
