The annual Chicago Scuba Expo is poised for a huge turnout this weekend according to Patrick Hammer, show president. While the rest of the United States may have heard of impending bad weather, Hammer said the weather will actually help the already surging attendance that is anticipated.

“People here in the Mid-west are used to cold and snow. They are looking for reasons to get out of the house and certainly a show devoted to scuba diving, warm weather travel and adventure is just the ticket,” Hammer said.
