Chicago Country Music Festival

This year the Chicago Country Music Festival has its own weekend and a new location at Soldier Field. As a fan of country, I feel that Chicago has one of the best country music gatherings outside of Nashville,” said Mayor Richard M. Daley.

The Chicago Country Music Festival, once a part of the Taste of Chicago, celebrates its 18th year with concerts and a new festival area that promises to draw some of the biggest names in country music. Past performers include Kenny Rogers, Faith Hill, and Keith Urban. In addition, there will be three performance stages and a dance tent. Activities include square dancing and karaoke.
