Chicago Christmas Tree Lighting
After a day full of Christmas shopping, swing by Daley Plaza on Friday, Novemeber 23rd, 2007 to see the Chicago Christmas Tree Lighting. Lighting the Chicago Christmas Tree is a tradition that is now its 94th year. The Chicago Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at Daley Plaza.

The party starts at 4:30pm with some live music and then the lighting of the Chicago Christmas Tree at 5:00. Chicago’s Christmas Tree is 90 feet tall and was created by combining more than 130 smaller trees. With hundreds of ornaments and thousands of lights, the Chicago Christmas Tree Lighting event is a great event for families.

While visiting the Chicago Christmas Tree, you can stop by Santa’s Workshop and get your picture taken with the jolly old man. Pictures will be available every day from November 22 - December 24; 11:00am - 4:00pm.
