Pro Volleyball rolls into Chicago with The AVP at Chicago’s Oak Street Beach the weekend of August 27-29, 2010. The 2010 AVP NIVEA TOUR KENTUCKY GRILLED CHICKEN CHICAGO TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP will offer 3 days of mens and women’s volleyball competition. You can buy general admission tickets for $15 or student tickets for $5. Additional packages are available. Different ticket packages are available at the official AVP at Chicago’s Oak Street Beach page.

Heres are some general Pro Volleyball rules:

• Each match will be a best of three rally-scoring sets.
• The first two sets are played to 21 points.
• The third set is played to 15 points.
• Teams must have a two-point advantage to win a set and there will be no caps used.
• Time between sets will be one (1) minute.
• If a server’s ball hits the net and falls into the receiving team’s space, the ball is in play.

Sunday, August 29, 2010
Men’s and Women’s Main Draw Competition – Men’s Final at 12:30 PM, Women’s Final at 2:30 PM
Gates open at 7:15 AM.
Start time 8:15 AM. End time (Approx) 3:30 PM.
