Art Institute Free Days

Art Institute Free Days are now Thursday evenings. The Art Institute of Chicago (111 South Michigan Ave) will be hosting “Target Free Thursdays” at the Art Institute, and admission is free from 5-8pm every Thursday. (Updated May 23, 2008)
The Art Institute of Chicago is usually open 9am-5pm during the week, so not only do you get to visit the Art Institute of Chicago for free on Thursday evenings, you also get some special extended hours. The Art Institute has previously had short runs for free day programs, so you may want to contact the Art Institute of Chicago at (312) 443-3600 or check out the official Art Institute Free Days page before planning your trip.
